The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time."

We had to be moved from our room due to the shower tray not draining but there were old coffee stains on the skirting board, tablecloth & curtains, not to mention stains on one of the “clean” towels. "Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . "Me, my partner and our two dogs stayed at rabbit hill hut for a week this July and honestly couldn't fault it. It had everything you could need. The Shepard's hut was perfect for the 4 of us to sleep, get washed and prepare light meals. The enclosed garden was fantastic for our lurcher and springer spaniel, they loved interacting with the horses and sheep in the next field, and we loved the extra seating area.
