"We regularly eat at The Bear, as we love the food, but this was our first time to stay. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. As always, the service in the restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. Our waiter, Hi-Man was most attentive. "

"We booked a nights stay as we have recently booked our wedding at this hotel, we couldn't of asked for a better place to get married, rooms were excellent, spa was busy but it was valentine's weekend and the food was superb. "Very friendly and helpful staff; the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There's a nice bar and restaurant for evening meals (fish and chips is quite good). Breakfast is continental, but there is a nice variety of cereals and toast and other items. The internet was quite good, by British standards."

"Very nice place to stay. Rooms are spacious and weel equipped. Comfy beds and were lucky to have a small balcony in kur room, out to the garden area. Great restaurant, book as very busy. Breakfast included in the stay and had a good choice of hot food. EV charging avaiable in the car park."

"The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
