Good location for a visit to the Black Forest, there are nice walks directly from the hotel. Restaurant is good for both dinner and breakfast.

A wonderful hotel to stay within the Black Forest with free parking for hotel guests. The scenery around the area is great to view and the train passes by on the Ravenna Bridge. There are some stores within the hotel complex selling souvenirs, cuckoo clocks and glass arts. A giant cuckoo clock also plays during the day.

Very nice hotel in the middle of the Black Forest. Breakfast spread was great and the room was very spacious but the bathroom was rather small. It was generally quite clean but I did spot a large cobweb in the corridor and there were some towels left behind by previous occupants behind the door. We stayed for 5 nights, 2 adults and 2 children. We asked the room to be cleaned about halfway and it didn’t get done. I complained to the receptionist who didn’t seem to concerned and didn’t even apologise. We did get some fresh towels at least. The breakfast spread was very good. We didn’t use the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Menu had a steak for 40 euros and 30 euros for a schnitzel which seemed a lot. There’s a beer garden opposite and we paid 20 euros for 3 cornettos and a coffee. You need a car to get around for day trips etc. there’s a couple of nice hikes right around there though.

This was such a great stay for my family. The hotel staff was amazing. They were helpful, kind, and efficient. The breakfast was incredible! Room was plenty large enough for my family of 4. It was very clean too. There was so much to do on the property. Our first night we sat out front in the biergarten and enjoyed burgers and beers. Sitting out on our balcony enjoying my morning coffee watching a train roll across the huge bridge behind the property was an amazing way to start my day. My kids loved hiking to the waterfall on the trail just behind the hotel. There are several trails to hike there. There are two really cool shops on the property and some other neat things that you’ll just have to discover for yourself. There are also two great towns about 30-45 minutes drive from Hofgut Sternen, Freiburg and Triberg. I’m almost sad that our trip to Germany started with this hotel as I’m afraid that the others we have booked might not live up to the experience we had here. Thank you Hofgut Sternen for getting our Germany vacation off to an amazing start.

O complexo onde o hotel se situa é super interessante. Tem uma loja de relógios cuco e de vidros. O atendimento é excelente. Vários funcionários falam português, o que auxilia quem tem dificuldades em alemão ou inglês. Pedro foi excelente com nós. Recomendo!

Wir hatten das Deluxe Zimmer, ein großes Zimmer mit schönem Bett. Leider ist das Zimmer sehr dunkel und durch den Vorsprung vom Dach kann man nur nach unten schauen. Den Himmel und die schöne Landschaft sieht man nicht. Das ganze Ensemble von Häusern und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist extrem touristisch, so auch die Gastronomie. Das muss einem klar sein. Um in der großartigen Schlucht zu laufen war es für eine Nacht vollkommen ok.

Die Toilette roch irgendwie je nachdem wie das Wetter war intensiv. Das Bett und der Kissen könnten ergonomischer sein. Das Duschwasser brauchte immer 5 Minuten um Temperatur zu bekommen. Zimmerservice gibt es nur auf Wunsch. Frühstück war gut. Die Mitarbeitenden sehr freundlich. Der Ort genial. Viele Wanderwege vor Ort und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten mit dem Auto wie auch zu fuss gut erreichbar. Ich würde trotz allem wieder buchen, weil es sehr Preiswert ist. Danke.
