Recommend!

Recommend this hotel if you are visiting Schwartswald. Supersweet Wood-hotel in a small village. The hotel has supergood food, resturant, personell, and nice modern rooms. We were happy with our visit and no complains!

Relaxing in Sankt Margen

Lovely hotel with a family feeling and ideal for hiking lovers!!! This place is ideal for a phone, social media rehab as the surroundings are mesmerising . Quiet town where you can get really bored but very pleased in the same time. Staff very attentive and helpful when needed.

Black Forest hotel stay

Nice place to stay in the Black Forest region. Clean comfortable room. Check in was a small challenge due to language barrier, but quickly done. Restaurant food and service was great. There is no elevator to second floor in one building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the set of stairs. The St Margen cloister museum nearby is a must see for any clock enthusiasts.

Family Friendly Upscale Hideaway

We stayed in a large family room which was perfect for the two of us and our two children (3yo and 8mo). A portable crib was provided and the couch can be used as a twin or bunk beds. The dinner was DELICIOUS and they were more than understanding of our louder table with children. The breakfast was also great. Our wing definitely had multiple children but you couldn’t hear anything. Also loved the Scandinavian vibe of hotel.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was cozy, the staff were kind, the breakfast was delicious and there was something for everyone! It was very comfortable. I wish there was air conditioning and the bed was a bit hard but everything else was perfect.
