The B&B is located in a quiet street about 15 minutes walk from the center in an old building with high ceilings.
Our twin bed room had a door to the lush, wildly romantic garden, but it is not maintained or usable. The room was very dark due to the tall trees in the garden.
The room and furnishings are dated, but quite clean and well maintained, but has relatively few amenities.
There was a wall mount for a TV, but no TV.
Wifi is available, but sometimes of poor quality.
The beds were comfortable.
The bathroom is very small, about 1.5 square meters plus a small shower.
Parking is difficult, there is plenty of parking on the street but the parking fee is very high. Parking is only free between 7pm and 9am. We parked in a parking garage about a 10 minutes walk away, which cost 22 EUR for 24 hours.
The small breakfast is brought to the room by the host and was fine.
The host was extremely friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips on restaurants, bike trips, the streetcar and also for the trip to Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat.
All in all, our stay was ok for 3 nights, but we would have liked a little more comfort and a more lovingly decorated room.
