What an amazing place to stay. Great value, fantastic hosts and a really fantastic breakfast and dinner available. We could only stay for one night and wish it could have been longer.

The property is beautiful. Mel and Hywel make you feel very welcome. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and area around the hotel is very picturesque. We would definitely go back.

Stunning ancient stone manor in the angevin countryside, beautifully restored. Our bedroom (Le Roi) - one of four - was huge, and the attention to detail and comfort was outstanding. Hosts Mel and Hywel are charming and efficient. Dinner (three courses including wine, no choice but not intimidating) was delicious; breakfast was exemplary. We will happily go back.

This was my first stay in a B/B. It was well-appointed, and the design aesthetic was calming and fashionable. The location was perfect in the countryside yet close to the city of Angers.

A wonderful overnight stay on our way back to UK. It was one of our favorite places we have stayed during our one-week road trip. The communication from Mel from the moment we booked was fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and full of character. The surroundings are stunning, set amongst rolling hills of vineyards and close to Saumur, pretty villages and some stunning Loire chateaux. Mel and Hywel are excellent hosts and ensure you have everything you need. Delicious food and great company. Dinner was prepared by Hywel and served with various accompanying wines from carefully chosen local vineyards. Absolutely perfect in every sense, service and hospitality were 5*. I wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back for a longer stay sometime next year.

A very special place to treasure

Absolutely fantastic stay. Mel and Hywel and superb hosts , we were made so welcome. The accommodation is stunning, beautiful room & en suite with amazing furnishings and perfect touches including coffee maker,& biscuits. We had the Table de Hote on the 3 evenings we stayed - the food was amazing and the wine served with each course specially selected and all from local vineyards. We celebrated a wedding anniversary on our third night and Hywel made it a very special occasion for us. We will definitely be returning and recommending Manoir de Jouramel to friends and family.

Le manoir de Jouralem est un endroit d’exception pour passer un moment agréable et reposant en couple ou en famille. A great find!

We loved 'Manoir de Jouralem'. The character is superb and the rooms spacious and extremely comfortable with great bathrooms. The owners are delightful and it is superb value for money. We couldn't fault anything with our stay and we all agreed we would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!
