"We paid extra for a view room. The view was the best thing about our room. The room was very stuffy on arrival. Had to put on the fan straight away. The room looked verdy tired, chipped pain, stains on the curtains. I always strip our beds when we stay away, when i stripped the beds the duvet was heavily stain & the mattress was badly stain aswell. The only thing that was ok was the matress topper. The cleanliness really should be looked at. I came away feeling dirty, im positive i came away...

"Friendly and very helpful host. Accommodated my dietary requirements very well. The optional breakfast is tasty and substantial, which is a big hit with me, and definitely worth paying the extra for. Nice new flooring and carpets throughout. My room was clean but could use an electric socket near the bed (I have advised host on this). Bedside lamps were battery only and ran out of power when I went out for a long evening. This might be only an issue in one room however. Runway is very handy...

"Inexpensive, basic, clean, no-frills, on-suite double room. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of free parking for residents. Ideal for a short break where you want to spend your money when you’re out and about – 12 mins walk from the Tower, Winter Gardens, Houndshill Shopping Centre, pedestrian precincts and Wetherspoons pubs. I’ll be going back again. Thanks."

"The pool needed booking a slot. When I tried to go it was fully booked. The reason we chose this hotel was the pool in case my daughter wanted to swim. She couldn't. There is also a charge for the pool even is staying here which I thought was crazy. Nothing going on in the bar and was one of the worst pints I have ever had. Breakfast was mediocre. The location and price were great. "

"Extremely disappointing experience. We booked for two days, but there was no housekeeping service to clean the room during our stay. The room had an unpleasant odor, and overall, I would not recommend this accommodation under any circumstances."
