Staff were helpful, and provided everything we asked for.
Given that this is an hotel, I found it appalling to find that they had no facilities for meals.
We had to ask for spoons to make hot drinks.
There was nowhere in the bathroom to hang dressing gowns etc.
Room 123 had a shower over a bath, but the bath was slippery when wet. Also, there was no mat to step out onto. Should I have had to ask for this too?
The information sheet in the room mentioned "School House Bar", but this was nowhere to be found.
The curtain pole was not lined up properly with the window, letting in light at sun rise, and disturbing sleep.
Tiles in the bathroom were grimy.
There was a threadbare patch in the carpet by the entrance to the bathroom.
Paintwork in the bathroom was worn.
In short, the hotel was a disaster and I'd not recommend it to anyone.
