"Probably one of our very favourite hotels ever. The property was amazing. Our room(s) had a beautiful view of the canal and was well appointed. Beds were comfortable with excellent bedding. Staff were kind and helpful. We spent some time in the courtyard which was nice as well. Super quaint and lovely!"

"I really enjoyed our three nights at Getaway. First, it was easy to get to from Gint Saint Peters and also from Gent Dampoort train stations. It was really quiet our whole stay and the kitchenette was helpful. The place is really close to downtown and we got a lot of walking in to all the sites in Ghent. There isn't AC but we didn't really notice there is a fan that we used and the room did not get any direct sun. lastly, the lockers were helpful because we arrived before our check in time and we didn't waste any time seeing Ghent. I would stay here again without question."

"While it’s in an industrial area - perfect for the arena nearby - it’s also extremely welcoming, comfortable and family friendly. The food (breakfast and dinner) were both standout, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The whole place is very tranquil. We’ll definitely go back. "

"We loved this hotel, the family room was large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Didn’t eat breakfast at hotel as we preferred to go out and eat at nearby cafes. Its position was central and it was easy to walk around Bruges which is exactly what we wanted. The staff were kind and helpful."

"We received an incredibly warm welcome from the lady on reception. Our top-floor room gave wonderful views over the city. The bathroom is slightly dated but perfectly acceptable. Breakfast was good, if slightly expensive. The area around the hotel offers a good selection of bars and restaurants. We found all the city sights to be easily walkable from the hotel. "

"Absolutely loved our stay! We were celebrating our anniversary and we had a treat waiting in our room (tin of Belgium biscuits)…nice touch! The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. We can’t say enough about the storybook city of Bruges and the location of this hotel! Plus we needed parking and the hotel had some on site (which is rare in a historical area). We wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights!"
