"This is a well-located, well maintained hotel with rooms that are on the larger side for metropolitan tokyo, and in fact would be decent sized in most Western countries. It is a very very large hotel, and does come across a little bit impersonal. Guests in standard rooms, not on deluxe floors, check in and out through kiosks--we never really talked to any hotel staff during our 5-day stay. The breakfast was kind of lame. They had the expected things, but the quality was disappointing. More like campus dining hall quality then four-star hotel quality. Hard to believe, but we had a much nicer breakfast in a three-star hotel in Sendai right before our stay in Tokyo. The restaurants in Dome City are also only so so. The bakery was okay but not to the standard you might expect from other bakeries in tokyo, and the dim sum place was substantially worse than PF Chang's. We did think the hotel was good value for the price we paid, and the convenience store on the second floor was very...convenient. The Korakuen garden is just around the corner, and well worth a visit if you're here. We will most likely look for a hotel with a somewhat more boutique atmosphere on subsequent visits, but this is definitely a reliable choice where you will be pleased with your room, and very convenient for attending events at the Tokyo Dome. I would suggest not opting for the hotel's breakfast and instead walking over to the nearby Wanna Manna restaurant for Taiwanese breakfast treats."

"This was such a great hotel in Tokyo. It is so beautifully designed and has so many amenities, that it makes an excellent stay. The rooms are small, but that's normal for Tokyo. The staff is welcoming. Definitely worth returning to. "

"Staff was very courteous and helpful. Hotel was very accessible to metro stops. We'd booked the King bed room and it was quite a wide bed. Room was super compact, but functional, even included a humidifier. Plenty of charging points. Bathroom too was tight but well designed, met all our needs. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs didn't work too well for us as we are vegetarian. Hotel location sucks for vegetarians as very limited options nearby. We loved the hotel otherwise - great value for money. Next trip we'll try another part of Tokyo."

"I stayed in several APA hotels during my trip to Japan and it wonderful. While the rooms are not large, they’re very efficient. The bed was comfortable and the amenities they provided such as fresh towels daily, small toiletries such as tooth brushes, shower caps, and cotton swabs were so so appreciated and convenient! There is shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided that I was able to use even with very sensitive skin! This location is quiet, but very well located! The staff were incredibly helpful and patient with me when working through my limited Japanese and there always seemed to be someone on staff who was fluent and able to step in and help if needed. When I come back to Japan, I’ll be staying in an APA property! "

"Staff was great and the hotel was very clean. Only issue was the lack of real air conditioning so the room was too hot to sleep in. I asked the staff for a way to cool the room and they gave me this weird water based fan that did not do much."

"Wha a beautiful hotel!! We stayed in a deluxe family room and it was very roomy and beautifully designed! Location was super convenient from train station (arriving from Narita airport and departing JR train the next day). Wish we had longer at this hotel! Late check-in was very smooth and very helpful staff. "
