Friendly staff, room was value for money. A little disappointed that the restaurant was only serving same food as bar, especially as booked for a birthday. Bar staff very customer orientated and super friendly, made as fuss of hubby for his birthday.

From a wonderful warm welcome from Teresa, to checking out, I had a brilliant time here. The room was spotless, cosy and quiet, the bar meal was delicious, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back to this hidden gem!

Beautiful property in a great location, with friendly staff & a nice bar area. Unfortunately, the room really let it down, particularly the bathroom. The bedroom was dated and there were a few broken fixtures etc, plus hairs on the bedding & rubbish from previous guests left in drawers, but the bathroom was one of the worst I've seen. There was a *lot* of mould on the walls, ceilings, and the sealant & grout around the shower, and it smelled of damp & sewage. The loo brush was absolutely revolting, and the floor hadn't even been hoovered, let alone mopped - a quick wipe with the bath mat left it covered in grime. There were also stains from the previous guests left in the toilet, which is not acceptable at all. I don't mind rooms being a bit dated, but the cleanliness really let it down. Had we not been in a rush to get to our next destination, we would have mentioned it to staff, but we did leave a comment card. My advice would be to take some disinfectant with you if you stay... And maybe a mop!

Lovely stay. Nice staff, some areas a little tired, however it didnt put us off staying as we felt welcomed, and would not hesitate to stay again should we be in the area. Good food. Comfortable bed.
