"This is a really nice hotel the rooms were basic but clean. The roof top bar gave this an extra something but bar far the best thing about this hotel was the staff, they went the extra mile to make sure your stay was comefortable, they greeted me by name by the end of the first day. It felt like a lovely family. If I am in Moshi again I will definitely stay here again! "

"The people that work at Stella Maris are wonderful and really set this place apart from other options. I stayed here for 6 nights around a Kilimanjaro trek and it was a very comfortable and warm stay. The staff are friendly and caring and it very quickly felt like my home away from home. The food was also delicious and I appreciated the mission of the hotel+school. If I'm ever back in the Moshi/Arusha area, I'll be looking to stay here again. "Für 1 Nacht vor der Safari gebucht, war es gut. Allerdings 2 DZ gebucht und wurden in einem Bungalow( mit je 1 Bad) untergebracht. Anlage war schön, Essen sehr gut und Personal sehr nett. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen, aber sicher."

"The people that work at this hotel deserve 10 stars! Professional and very accommodating in every way imaginable. They make the property what it is. The restaurant food is delicious but a bit pricey for the area. If you’re staying in Moshi or intending to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, I definitely recommend staying here. Our favorite part about this hotel were the workers & the food! "

"Hotel très propre dans un cadre verdoyant, personnel agréable. Par contre Expedia ne donne pas les infos de la chambre réservée, nous sommes arrivés de nuit et nous avons découvert le lendemain que la chambre vue montagne n'en était pas une.... Juste pour info, il y a un coq qui chante et très tôt. Hotel a recommander pour une étape immersive au pied du Kilimandjaro, la vue est magnifique, le cadre verdoyant. "

"Not as close to the airport as I thought. Taxi from airport to lodge takes about 20 mins along a dusty unpaved road. But hotel itself is very nice and you can see Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Staff very friendly and helpful. A lot of international tourists stay here "

"Our stay in this hotel is a good experience. the service is excellent. the condition of the hotel is good we have some little issues but they were urgent to fix it. joseph one of the server there was very kind and accomodating, always making sure were taken care off. the owner also check on us everyday. i would recommend this hotel for a great experience in Kilimanjaro. plus factor you can see the view of mt Kilimanjaro."

"Is a very simple and quiet hostel. My room was cozy and small. The building is old and not too modern. The plumping can be bad. If you are not into luxury and you are a simple person and dont really care about materials then this place is good for you. If you are not like that then this place is not for you. Is located in the main road of moshi so it easy to walk around. The price is realy good with a simple breakfast. Its a fair deal. "
