"The hotel is in the heart of Bangkok. Centrally located to all trains, shopping malls, restaurants and sightseeing. Overall excellent hotel. Spacious, clean room. Very comfortable beds. Hotel has a pool, spa and fitness center- all exceptional. The rooftop bar has amazing views, awesome drinks and excellent food!
There were a few disappointments/improvements to mention:
(1) I did reach out to the hotel beforehand to advise that due to our 24+ hour flight from Miami Florida we would be arriving quite early. The hotel notified us that there would be an additional days charge for early check-in. I do understand hotel policies however it was a bit distasteful as a first time visitor traveling from such a distance to be charged a full day not perhaps a pro rated fee.
(2) For a hotel of this caliber, to not have a pod coffee maker and snack bar in room was a bit shocking. They did offer very tacky instant coffee packets but again for this caliber of hotel they should be embarrassed. Additionally we had some laundry done and was charged quite high for the small amount of laundry but it was a convenience. The insulting part was a service charge on top of the cleaning charge. I would have accepted a higher charge than to be “nickel and dimed”.
All in all a fabulous location within walking distance to pretty much everything."
