I recently stayed at your hotel and had a great experience. The service, amenities, and overall atmosphere were excellent. However, I noticed that the pool water could be clearer, and I believe it could be maintained a bit better for an even better guest experience.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and although there were some hiccups here and there, the staff was very friendly, fast, efficient and full of empathy when we voiced out for help multiple times regardless of the time. They made sure that we felt well taken care of and that our concerns were valid and valued throughout the entire stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I were to revisit Desaru in the future!

Comfortable stay

city area location, with many eatery nearby. There is a supermarket as well. Room is spacious and clean. Water temperature is constant and steady flow. Just lacked of activities in hotel, need to head out for massage. Quite far away from attraction, abit inconvenient for those without car. If you are looking for beach/resort vibe,maybe have to book nearer to coastline accommodations. Some have them have outdoor activities or arcade within the facilities.

Worth the stay in Sheraton Desaru

My family enjoyed the 1 night stay. The room was big and had good balcony view. The bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast spread was good but need some improvement in taste of some dishes. Hope to come back again in future to stay longer. Only disappointing was the Hotel did not receive full message of my request from Hotels.com to do a simple deco in 1 room to surprise my daughter for her 21st birthday. The hotel only received part of my request for room next to each other.

The service standard of the hotel staff is up to the standard expected of Marriott Bonvoy branding. Only on 2 aspects which I think the hotel can do better. (a) There is no air conditioning at the corridor outside the hotel rooms throughout the 3-day stay. I'm unsure if it has malfunctioned or was shut down due to maintenance or to save energy. This has caused some discomfort to the hotel guests and I have never encountered such an issue at other hotel chains. (b) There should be a proper shower screen seal strip provided at the shower screen to prevent water from splashing out to the dry area within the toilet. The current setup will cause inconvenience to the guests.
