"This was a lovely B&B to stay at. The furnishings were very British and great for our England travels. The breakfast was tasty and had plenty of choices. Michelle was friendly and polite and not at all pretentious, very inviting and comfortable."

"Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The location is a bit further out which means you should plan travel accordingly. The rooms were clean and the staff gave you all the information you needed if you had to contact them."

"We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon."

"The hotel was old and uncomfortable. Didn’t find my booking and had to wait around for over 30 minutes for it to be confirmed despite showing evidence the room was booked.
Won’t stay again. "

"I arrived later on in the evening so reception was closed.
Contact number was provided on the door, which I called and was quickly guided to the location of my key to gain entry.
Room was really homely and clean.
Hotel has a car park onsite.
I didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but they do have a bar."

"The lack of drinking water available in rooms were a bit frustrating …. That’s a basic need but if guests are expected to buy their own water and there no close by shops as well…
Rest was good based on pricing"
"Very helpful friendly reception staff. Very accommodating and upgraded us without issue to a beautiful room with a beautiful view. Perfect location. However, building work has commenced next to the property which can be a little intrusive with truck noises (which is why we asked to change room), but this won't be forever and apparently it is a leisure complex that can only enhance the hotel once completed. Ease of access to Chipping Norton Town with good parking facilities and eateries. We did try the hotel restaurant which was okay but nothing special and a little pricey. (never understood the pretentious concept of serving food on a wooden chopping board instead of a plate, a plate , I feel is better in terms of presentation and hygiene). Staff however, very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely want to stay here again if in the area."
"Excellent position for all attractions. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Hotel undergoing extension and renovation. This is affecting cleanliness and ease of access. Very comfortable accommodation with good quality mattresses and bed linen."
"Staff were excellent, in particular Chloe who managed to deal with our very large party splitting a restaurant bill and whose enthusiasm was infectious. The rooms are large and have excellent amenities at this price. The bed was a little softer than I have at home but was large and comfortable. Excellent aircon throughout. Two little gripes, one of which they can do nothing about. There is very little space to drop off close to the hotel and the nearest car park isn’t 24h. The other thing is the wine available by the glass is a poor selection and opened bottles are not pumped. Overall, an excellent stay and would recommend. "
