The reception even allocated me ground floor because I told her I have heavy luggage and have to leave early in the morning. "Die Unterkunft ist mit 15€ pro Tag sehr günstig allerdings auch sehr sehr alt und spartanisch. Das Badezimmer war wirklich nicht schön, aus der Klimaanlage kam zwischendurch stinkender Geruch. Wir haben uns gegen eine Nacht dort entschieden und sind in einem anderen Hotel unter gekommen."

"These are single storey room with porch for cars. It gives me the ambience of a village style hotel where you wake up in a country side and move among the chicken and ducks. The weather was very hot when I came. So I already have hot water from the tank without using the heater but I got a shock of my life when I used th bidet to clean my bottom after moving my bowels! Next morning, it was even too hot to take a bath!!! And the air cond took a long time to cool my room down!"

"We arrived late at night post checking out the night night market at Surat Thani as check in available until 23.45 :) Please be awake: black elephant boutique and 88 fine hotel are combined. We booked a room in 88 fine hotel and was expecting to sleep in one of the detached rooms as per photos in the booking- however we stayed on the second floor of the black elephant boutique. The stairs are very steep- so would recommend when booking to book first floor if needed! Other than that- room...

"Great value for money. Staff at check-in was helpful and pleasant but zero English. Annoying thing's included: First 3 rooms had AC whine. 4th ok but remote had low batteries. Very steep stairs. Tepid bathtub water even after 5 kettles of boiling water to warm up. Woman woke me up with 5 minutes of knocking at 8am and would not go away. Then came back again apparently to deliver breakfast which I didn't order. No vegetarian food on menu. "
