Cons - the gym is small and lacks toilet facilities. Lack of designated spaces for smokers, therefore we were exposed to second hand smoking! Lack of recycle receptacles in rooms and throughout the property."

"Don’t count on transport arrangements being completed correctly. Got to airport and no shuttle transport had been set up even though I had an email confirming arrangements had been made. We had to get a taxi at the airport. Then they tried to charge us for the shuttle. Never even offered a verbal apology:( "

"The welcome at Awali was excellent. The all inclusive starts when you arrive regardless of check-in time and it ends when you leave even if you checked out the room hours before. "The lady might have been the nicest I have ever encountered at a hotel during my years of travelling! The accommodation was very nice for that price point. Was just looking for a place for a good deal with clean sheets, and it was exactly that. There’s no front desk there so it’s best to message the property before arriving. "Great place, quiet, food options was minimal. But there ate nearby restaurants. Food was really good but many ants during breakfast buffe and on the tables during lunch/dinner. We were confronted by the restaurant manager one morning and askes why we did not like the mauritian buffe the night before. Only one of us had the buffe and it was amazing. So i dont know what happend there."
