"We had a fantastic two night stay at Oakview. Luxurious, new boutique accommodation on the ground floor of a lovely new property. Only a five minute stroll into the main eateries, shopping and thermal pools. Fabulous hosts and accommodation we couldn’t fault! Would absolutely love to stay at the Oakview again next time we visit Hanmer Springs. "

"We stayed 2 nights in a Deluxe Spa Suite. The room was spacious, clean & warm. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large & well appointed, included a 2 person spa bath & double sinks. I thought that I had booked a room with more kitchen facilities. A microwave or benchtop oven/airfryer would have been good. There was a jug & 2 each plates, utensils etc. We ordered room service dinner on the first night. We had to enquire after 75mins, meal finally arriving 90 mins from ordering. The food...

"No heating in the room. Two heaters in the room and neither worked. Heated towel rack didn’t work. Took a few minutes if running the hot water before any warm water came through. There were cups, sugar and a kettle in the room but no tea bags or coffee. Walking through the hotel from our room to the breakfast area the hotel was freezing. The Hanmer Springs Hotel is not a hotel I will ever recommend. "
