"I would not recommend this property to anyone who does not speak Thai or have their own car. We were mislead by their decriptionn of the property, where it claimed it was a 2 minute walk to the ruins and that they had a pool.There was no one at reception the whole time, no manager we could talk to and we had to find the cleaning staff to try and check us in. Our room was not ready and we waited for almost 2 hours in 38° in a non air-conditioned lobby. Because of the language barrier we never...

"I think Krungsri is the only 4 star hotel in Ayutthaya. Just 10 mins walk from Ayutthaya railway station. Good hotel on the outside of Ayutthaya Island. To get to Ayutthaya historical park, you take a tuk tuk for 100 to 200 baht. Alternative you walk to the station ferry pier and take the ferry across to Ayutthaya Island for 10 baht per person and walk 30 mins. Excellent breakfast. Good size quiet room. Only complaint about the room is insufficient power points for charging phones."

The place could use a good cleaning - the ceiling lights were full of dead flies. Breakfast is included, but very simple. Functional, but not great. The restaurant, however, is excellent.
