"This a great place to stay that is in the Victorian era mode. I hope the basic decorum and vibe of the place never changes. It is a throw back to another era and all of the pictures from earlier times in Kolkata and the hotel and news clips are very interesting. Yes there maybe some pealing paint (which to me is part of the charm) but there is a touch of class throughout - e.g. white table cloths, real crystal wine glasses, antique furniture. "LaLiT is a historic building, near the colonial seat of power when Calcutta was the capital of the British Raj. The traffic around the hotel is chaotic, not to mention crowded. But the staff were wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again when we are next in Kolkata."

"お部屋は常に清掃してくれて、備品の補充も十分で安心して過ごすことができました。夕方にはロビーで生演奏があり、優雅な気分に浸ることができました。ビュッフェ朝食の種類もたくさんあり、おいしかったです。観光に関してホテルのスタッフに尋ねたときも親切に教えていただきました。空港送迎を依頼し、安全にホテルに到着し、安全にホテルから空港に向かうことができました。スタッフの方は皆さんとても親切で、良い時間が過ごせました。ありがとうございました。時間に余裕がなくて、プールの利用ができなくて心残りでした。機会があったらまた滞在したいと思いました。"

"I really loved the personalised service provided by the owner as it is a family owned hotel and they go above and beyond to make you feel like you're at home. "When my taxi arrived at 3 AM and looked at the hotel exterior, I laughed. It was too funny. But once I got into the hotel and my room, I was cool with everything.
