Clean, well priced co.fortable place, with the most gorgeous rooftop terrace for breakfast, which although not included, was filling and well-priced. I am staying there when I return to Kolkata!

Wildflower!!!

I loved my stay at the Wildflower Hotel. The building is the beautiful old English, Victorian architecture. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. I am returning on my wayback to Calcutta.

Decent Stay

A colonial era building with classic old-style elevator. The reception is at the top floor. Within walking distance to Park Street Metro Station. Spacious room with old-style Aircon and a ceiling fan. No complimentary bottled water provided.

We had made a booking, but when we arrived, the staff didn't accept that. Said that it was not available. So we had to pay more for our visit there. The bed was not so very good. Location is perfekt. But I don't think I will go there again. Sorry!

I didn't like the way staff were insisting me to checkout early, around 10 I was asked when I will be checking out and at 11 15 they just asked me to checkout though the checkout time was 12 I have stayed in other hotels and so far never had such experience before

Excellent séjour à Calcutta

Le séjour a été très agréable dans le centre de Calcutta. Le toit terrasse était pourvu d'arbustes en pot et commencer la journée avec un petit déjeuner à cete hauteur était un vrai plaisir. La chambre était bien meublée et tranquille au second étage. Les fenêtres s'ouvraient. Le personnel était très serviable. La salle de bains est petite mais ce n'est pas un problème. Un seul regret : ne pas avoir connu cette guest house lors de mes précédents séjours à Calcutta.

Beautiful old colonial buiding

great stay!, this is the second stay at this guesthouse, staff are very very helpful, lovely and clean room, very central location, just off park street, lots of places to eat close by, will stay here again! love it! can`t wait to go back! missing kolkata all ready!!

One of the best place to stay when you are in Kolkata markets are near clubs are near even tourist spots are near by and the staffs are really nice and very helpful also even the rooms are clean and perfect I'm very happy with my stay and I wish sunflower guest house the very best for the future ahead.

enough good budget accommodation, perfect location

restaurants are within walking distance. staffs are nice. bathroom is ok, hot water is always available. Wi-Fi available. lift from ground floor to 4th floor. no breakfast. no closets. too many cockroaches.

便利な場所

夜中の2時に到着したらゲートに鍵がかかっていて、中で寝ているスタッフを起こして開けてもらいました。場所もわかりやすく、チェックインもスムーズです。Reviewで窓が壊れていて閉まらない、Wi-Fiが使えないと読んでいたので、窓は持参した紐やテープで止めて使い、携帯のデータを使えるようにしました。でも後で聞いてみたらWi-Fiも使えました。ただ、パスポート番号の登録が必要です。問題はゴキブリの多さで、テーブルやベッドの上にも上がってきました。枕の下や毛布の上、人がいても逃げません。殺虫剤を持って寝ました。

Good but a little expensive

This hotel was perfectly manageable and in a great area. My only complaint is that for the price (2000rps a night), I normally expect a bit more in India (e.g a sheet to sleep under, a restaurant, nicer service at check-in). However, this may be because this is what you have to pay for a basic hotel in a nice location in Kolkata.

Central location but no value for money

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of sights and restaurants. It has AC but an old one without instructions, that is difficult to navigate. There was supposed to be warm water but it did not work during our 2,5 days stay. The reception is on the top floor, an extra staircase away from the lift so not really convenient location. Suggestions for improvement: get rid of the cockroaches, update the room instructions, provide AC instructions, provide a proper amount of sheets and towels, clean the door handles and bathroom better. We were impressed by the elevator staff.
