"This is a wonderful B&B, with amazing views. Our room was spacious and comfortable; Des and Susan were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Great choices for breakfast, freshly cooked Irish breakfast and lovely porridge too. Plenty of local fresh fruit and honey. Good location for Waterford. Would highly recommend Samuels Heritage B&B."

"Where do I even begin? From the moment I got there; I was treated like royalty. Staff was top notch. Pods are the coolest thing and such a wonderful experience. The Hottub and dry sauna are pristine. The pods are so nicely designed and super clean. Waking up to the country side was one of the most spectacular views ever. I should’ve stayed my entire week there and never left. I was so content and relaxed! I will definitely be back soon!!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is!!! "

"Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. "Clean and comfortable! Parking was very hectic! We ended up parking in the large parking lot 2 blocks away because we couldn't get to the hotel lot ( too much traffic)"

"The huts and gardens were fantastic. The huts had everything you needed and were clean and tidy. Loved sitting in the hot tub at night watching the bats! "

"Make sure you State ahead of your reservation that you want a room with Air Conditioning!! Other than that the hotel is good. Location is great. Yo are next to the River. Beautiful Bridges, Catedrals, Old Government Buildings. Piza placeis almost next door. Burger King and McDonalds are not that far away. What a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, and the decor made everything look stylish but not overly fancy. I was happy and relaxed the entire time."

"The grounds are amazing and the Castle is beautiful from the outside. We were not allowed to enter the castle because it was rented out for our entire stay. We stayed in the Lodges which would have been nice had some issues been addressed. First off the doors were left open when we got there, front and back, so we thought maybe we were in the wrong place. The hot water lasted 5 mins and never came back. Main bedroom door leading outside was broken and would not shut. Had a chain holding it...

"It was good for the price. But to check in you have to call a number and wait. It doesn’t tell you that and the number is on the door so you can’t call early. Simeon from another location comes to let you in. Breakfast is do it yourself continental, not amazing. We are at The Pantry just a few places down, amazing. The lady that checked us in was nice. Room was small but worked. Bed slanted towards head so needed up sleeping opposite direction."
