"One of my favorite places to stay in Taipei. Slightly further from MRT station (6-7 minutes) but still worth it for the value and the comfort and the amenities. Love their hot tubs, the pool, the gym, the service, and beds are very comfortable. Space is clean but we did notice one old chocolate wrapper hidden between the bed cracks. Other than that, no issues and service was great."

"This was our second stay at the Rido, which is located in perhaps the best neighborhood of all Taipei city, directly across from Da A Forest Park. We had a deluxe room with a view of the park, and it was wonderful to wake up to this sight daily. Proximity to the park also allowed for several leisurely walks and training runs. Nearby Dongmen neighborhood guaranteed a rich selection of restaurants and shopping. The hotel offers an ample breakfast featuring Chinese options (noodles, steamed buns, congee, braised pork over rice, and sautéed vegetables), along with Western fare including eggs, salad, bread for toasting, and cereal. This is served from 7:10 to 10am. The staff at the hotel are always very courteous and helpful, from the front desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning personnel. They are all so clearly eager to provide guests with all the help they need, and have great attitudes. Transportation options from the hotel are plentiful, adding convenience to the long list of reasons to stay there."
