"Pool clean but gets crowded later in day. Terrific breakfast buffet. And we have a delicious dinner there also. Beautifully decorated for cherry blossom festival and specialty drinks at bar. Staff was great. Have started here 4 times in past 6 years!"

"It’s not far from Metro stops. Parking near the hotel is a bit of a challenge (out front are posted “No parking, etc.”) It’s a convenient location to WH & Smithsonian. No fridge in the room was kind of lame. The Nespresso machine was nice. Everything is very clean. And they hold bags for you for the day- nice perk . "

I paid about $91 at check-in, which I was aware of based on my Expedia reservation. But the additional $145 charged at checkout was never disclosed during the booking process. Greater transparency about fees would have made for a much better experience."

"Stairs to enter the property which was awkward at night with suitcases. We checked in at 10 PM and had to wait 10 minutes for the single attendant. The room was good, comfortable bed and well decorated. Close to convention center, easy Uber just felt on the edge of sketchy."

"I think service was the most disappointing at front desk and restaurant . The host Also , we ended up going to Riggs for breakfast one morning because the breakfast menu was very mediocre and eating it for 3 days in a row got very old . Dinner menu is not bad but also only if you eat there once , they don’t even offer daily specials that would add a little variety . "
