We were heading out very early one morning for a tour and because breakfast was not served until 8:30 we would have missed it. They left everything in the fridge se we could help ourselves to breakfast very early. Very much appreciated. Susanna was wonderful and made us a fire and was very welcoming.

One of the Nicest Hotels on our Trip

We were thrilled with this hotel. From the moment our host walked us around and checked us in, we were thrilled with the class and style of the property. An excellent location on a pedestrian walkway overlooking the beautiful lake. Breakfast was great, too. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, a stay full of surprises. Why go for a normal hotel when you can have a wonderful experience somewhere a bit different. Everything was clean, we had the most beautiful pool, the room was great. Just what we wanted.

Amazing property and perfect location to explore Amarante. Only stayed for one night but it was just what I needed. The building is quite old but I like the traditional style of it. I would definitely return if in Amarante again!

Myself and my wife loved staying here it was a beautiful guest house very traditional. We were visiting family so found tbe guest house to be very convenient . If i had to moan about anything it would be the thin walls between the rooms we could here the couple in the next room very clearly which was a little annoying at times but usually only when we wanted to sleep. And again its a very small moan becuase they may of been loud people. The breakfast was great and Siri the cat kept us company at times. The whole place was immaculate and everything had been thought of including the honesty bar which was a nice touch. I would suggest maybe adding some snacks to this as well. I would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone thinking of staying in Amarante. We will be back. Thank you

Great location

The guesthouse is wonderfully located. Parking on site was a bonus. Lino is a gracious host. Local restaurants are great, beware portions can be large. Our double bed though small, was as listed.

Un sitio muy agradable.

Tiene una ubicación inmejorable. Es una gran casa señorial. Puedes utilizar la cocina, donde te dejan café e infusiones gratis, un gran detalle, así como el salón-comedor con chimenea y televisor. Cuenta con jardín y zona de relax con piscina. Es muy cómodo y tranquilo, te hace la estancia muy agradable. Lo único que los bungalós no tienen espacio para poner la ropa. Merece la pena alojarse ahí, me ha gustado. Para repetir.
