"The apartment is in a very lively neighborhood with tons of bars and restaurants to go to and very close to the water. Staff are very polite and helpful. I will point out that I didn’t realize that this is the so called party area of town 😂 so you can hear music late through the night, it didn’t bother me even though I went to bed early since I’m used to city noise, but if you’re someone who goes to bed early heads up that this is an area where you may hear that because it’s that kind of an area not the hotels fault. :) I do recommend the hotel."

"I was urgently looking for a hotel after an unpleasant experience with another hotel. And Roi turned out to be an amazing experience. It is located in a quite area - no noisy restaurants, no mosques, no transport. You can sleep with open windows without any problem. Also there is a train station nearby, and many bus and tram stops, so you can travel to any location. The esplanade is not verycfar from the hotel, ~15 minutes walking. So you can go and enjoy the promenade. The staff is open and helpful. Huge thanks to Mr. Süleyman and Mr. Zafer for making the stay so comfortable and being ready to help all the time. If something was not working or missing, it was fixed immediately. The were no breakfasts, but I didn't need the. And besides in that area there are many local canteens serving breakfasts. Also the room had a fridge, so you could buy something to your taste. And the price was very affordable. I will definitely stay in this hotel when I am back to Izmir."

"If you're looking for the opposite of a corporate hotel experience, this is the place. A countercultural spot if there ever was one. The staff is charming. There is coffee and breakfast -- not free as reported -- but quite good. It's in an obcure little street -- but the locals know it -- right off a major pedestrian street that was hopping on a Thursday night (and there places with better atmosphere in the immediate vicinity.) Location then both convenient and obscure. There is off street parking -- paid to commercial lot -- immediately across the alley which you may well want to avail yourself of. Mine was a less than 24 hour but I'd gladly return should life ever take me to Izmir again."
