"Stayed for 3 nights staff good room on the small side it was the bathroom that was really small and smelt of urine I didn’t help the at the windows didn’t open at all. I accept it’s a lovely old building but it needs a lot spending on it to bring it up to Hotel Du van standards."

"The room was a good size but had an odd odor and the carpet looked dirty with many stains. The rooms have NO AC, and they get extremely hot with no way to open the windows more than a couple of inches. A pedestal fan was provided but did little good, just blew hot air around. The hotel provided complimentary water (still and sparkling) and a couple of sodas, but all were warm and the rooms have in-room fridge."

"I only stayed for the 1 night after a migraine prevented me from driving home. The receptionist was lovely explaining all the amenities whilst totally understanding how unwell I was feeling. She checked me in quickly and sent me off to my room with some biscuits. The rooms are spacious with a lovely comfy bed. As I said, it was a last minute stay but would definitely stay again."

"Lovely friendly pub serving excellent breakfast."

"Friendly pub with rooms. Our room faced the village road, but was not especially noisy. The village was quite remote, but convenient for us to continue our trip into north Devon. Our room was a reasonable size with everything we needed for an overnight stay. We had booked dinner in the pub - and although our booking got forgotten, we were able to eat there at the time we had originally booked. Breakfast & dinner were good."
