We stayed in the unit with the kitchenette. That is a spacious unit, but the only window is in the door - the only way to open it is to leave your room door open, I. E. No operable window.

Days Inn by Wyndham Alamogordo/White Sands
The hotel looks very run down from the outside. The lobby for breakfast was very small and breakfast itself was lacking anything with protein, just a bunch of carbs. The pool wasn't open, which was very disappointing to our kids. I've stayed at nicer places for less cost.

The Lodge at Cloudcroft
Historical Hotel in a beautiful location. The sunset views from the tower were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. We were planning to stay one night, but stayed a second night!!!
