"The room was a highlight, intelligently designed, well laid out, and genuinely comfortable from a usability perspective. Everything was exactly where you would expect it to be. Unfortunately, the bed undermined the entire experience. The mattress was notably uncomfortable, and the frame creaked with even minor movement. For a stay built around rest, that is not a small detail. Service was efficient but impersonal. Both the front desk and café staff handled tasks competently, but with little warmth or engagement. At checkout, there was no enquiry about the stay, which reinforced the overall impression that guests are processed rather than welcomed. I paid £40 for a late checkout until 2pm, which appeared not to have been communicated to housekeeping, as they entered the room while I was changing. An avoidable and unwelcome interruption. Overall, while the room design reflects clear thought and investment, the broader experience does not match that standard. It is a well-designed product let down by execution. I would not return, which is disappointing given how strong the fundamentals are."

"Staff was great, room service was great. Management of the service at the Piano bar left much to be desired on a busy night; however outside of that experience no complaints. Excellent service, i will return."

"During our brief stay at Stamford Bridge hotel, the deputy manager (Neil) was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived late for check in and hadn't eaten. He personally took us up to the restaurant to check on food options. Sadly the kitchen had closed but he was really helpful in coming up with a solution. We would definitely stay again. Despite the current work to renovate, the hotel was comfortable and the staff were lovely. The breakfast was delicious and there was a variety of choices for a good price. "

"Amazing location! Literally sleeping next to the Theatre in Piccadilly!!! 😊. We booked the hotel to watch Les Mis which was absolutely incredible if you are thinking about a theatre trip. Easy check in. There was staff there to help with any hiccups. Friendly staff. Clean entrance with a few seats to charge phones etc. There was a really nice gym, not sure if you had to pay extra. Cafe area and more seating and work areas. Heads up, bag storage is £15 per suitcase and early check in £ 40. Room was super clean and very simple. No hairdryers or any frills but that's fine for what we wanted. Check out easy. Beautiful Japanese restaurant opposite called Shoryu . We had a fab time! "

"Took a bit of getting used to using an app to open all the doors but otherwise, it was a good stay-close to the tube and restaurants, highly recommend if you need a base while in London! "
