"Schloss Frankenberg was the first stop on an 8-person family tour of Germany. It was a little palatial paradise - even in the extraordinary heat wave that had set in. The staff thoughtfully placed us in air conditioned rooms and provided us with waters and extra helping hands to get our luggage and people to where they needed to go. Each morning, we had an incredible breakfast in the ballroom with delightful, and patient, service. With three kids under 12 with us, this was especially appreciated! The children had a great time exploring the castle's dungeon walkways, the grounds, and looking at all of the artifacts. Truly, a gem hiding out in Weigenheim, Germany. We would love to return again in the future, if the opportunity presents itself."
