"This was an incredible stay. The location, the breakfast oh that pool, so refreshing after long walks. You can access the entire area by foot. I stayed a week. Never rented a scooter and walked to Ninh binh twice. Freedom was such a relaxing wonderful experience and the little lady who literally sweeps, cleans and smiles all day. "Tam Coc Gardens is truly one of Ninh Binh’s most mesmerizing hidden gems—and an experience I will never forget. What I discovered here far exceeded my expectations. After nearly 2-weeks of traveling through Vietnam, this was the perfect place to end my journey. It was more than a retreat; it was a total reset of my whole being. As a solo traveler, I was initially a little nervous about the secluded location. But once I arrived, I understood the magic. Just minutes from town, yet beautifully tucked away, the lush gardens, water, architecture, tranquility, and warmth of the staff created an atmosphere that felt almost spiritual. My room was absolutely magical and even reminded me of my home in Ghana. Every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the spacious bed and soothing bedding to the tea, snacks, writing paper, meditation space, fan and AC. The evening turndown, love story card & thoughtful notes were beautiful touches. The food was exceptional—especially the breakfast, which was the best I experienced during my 2-weeks in Vietnam. The fish dishes at dinner were beautifully presented & delicious. The complimentary Garden Eco-Tour & rice-ball class were wonderful, & the spa treatments were pure bliss. A special thank-you to Phuong for his kindness, attentiveness, and wonderful service. Tam Coc Gardens isn’t simply a resort, It is a sanctuary—a place to breathe, reconnect, reflect & simply be. I arrived curious and left restored. I will absolutely return in 2027!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Tam Coc Oasis resort and spa, and didn’t want to leave! The staff were amazing, so friendly and we felt so looked after and like family. Special thanks to Lily, Sophia, Vivianne, Huyen for your smiles and hospitality everyday! 100% recommend this hotel. The food was lovely, the room was so relaxing, clean and comfortable and the bath was a special treat. The air-conditioning worked very well and the view from our balcony was spectacular. I particularly liked watching the dragonflies dance above the pool in the mornings! Thank you again, we hope to be back!"

"We stayed at La Lua Resort for two nights. The room was well appointed with great views of the rice fields and mountains, and the staff were attentive. If you want to unplug and relax on site, it is a great choice. A few things to keep in mind: Location: It is 15+ km from Tam Coc, where most of the action and food options are. Bike rental services would not deliver to the hotel, so we had to take a Grab into town to rent bikes and eat. Value: As the most expensive stay of our 6-hotel trip, the breakfast and afternoon tea fell short of expectations for the price point. Great spot to unwind, but factor in the distance if you plan to explore Tam Coc."

"I had an amazing stay here in Ninh Binh. The whole experience felt incredibly warm and homey from the moment I arrived. The highlight was definitely the family who owns and runs the property. They were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, and they made me feel at home throughout my entire stay. You can tell they really care about their guests and put a lot of heart into the place. Everything about the stay was great — the property was comfortable, peaceful, and had such a nice atmosphere. It felt much more personal than staying at a typical hotel. I’d absolutely stay here again if I return to Ninh Binh and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. We especially loved learning that even the restaurant tables were made from recycled old pallets. It is clear that so much thought and care has gone into every aspect of the property. We genuinely loved every second of our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere truly special.
