"We had a great stay at the No. 5 Valley Lodge! The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel is located very close to the West Entrance of the park and offers rides to the entrance on days you wish to explore. On our day at the resort, there were fun activities organized by the hotel, a beautiful pool overlooking the valley, and rice fields you could walk along! If we ever return to Zhangjiajie, we will be sure to return!"

"We reserved two rooms for a family of four for 4 nights. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the fresh room every day after a long walking tour. Breakfast is free and has lots of selection. It has a tour information desk offer online tickets booking with no extra fees. Whenever we had any questions or concerns about the tickets (wherever we were) they were always answered my phone. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay...

"This is a very nice hotel with a great breakfast buffet, but it’s best feature is its location, within walking distance of the East Entrance of the Zhangjiajie Forest Park. "

"This hotel was my stop between the airport and the park. It is very conveniently located to both the airport (10 minutes by taxi) and the cable car stop for Tianmen Mountain (10 minutes walking or 3 by taxi). It was comfortable, clean, and far enough away from the road to avoid loud noises. The staff also helped me to solve a booking issue at no extra charge."

"Location of the hostel is very good. Walkable to the Zhangjiajie National Park entrance. Overall room wasn’t that clean. The washroom had that typical smell and I saw a few stains on the bed sheets. There are only stairs but highest floor is only 5 or 6 I think. Overall it’s just a cheap acceptably clean place to stay near Zhangjiajie National Park."

"Cons- Very far from most tourist destinations, expect to spend more money on taxi, and hotel adds surcharge to book cabs. Insect comes into the room because it's in forest area. Air Conditioning in Hotel isn't the best, it is just sufficient, but room remains warm. No restaurants other than hotel's own restaurants. Expect to pay slightly more for hotel food. Pros - Staff very helpful and respond very quickly. Hotel is new and clean. Hotel right next to one tourist attraction, but that's about...
