Everything was so perfect. The personnel are so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Rooms are modern and comfortable. We had delicious meals from the restaurants and the spa is so relaxing.

Largely average.
Service was very hit and miss. It ranged from the fantastic (my breakfast on the last day), to the disinterested and unavailable. The rooms are large, in good condition and well furnished. Breakfast is reflective of the fact Tunis appears to be going backwards. It was pretty boring and lacking in authentic ingredient - although better than the room service which was cold and was canned chicken for the club sandwich. (Inexcusable in a premium property) Also, the Lac is filthy. Full of pollution and plastic, so it smells terrible in the morning. Movenpick are complicit in this, with single use toiletries, single use plastic sachets and water bottles. A big hotel chain really should be better. Many are. I wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent hotel
All excellent as normal but for whatever reason my booking was not found which took me a while to get it sorted by my agent. You wish to relax once you arrive from a long flight. To be honest, this is the first time ever that happened to me with this hotel.

Perfect short stay
PERFECT location in Tunis with view of lake and short walk from few eateries including KFC, Chillies etc and otherwise short taxi rides to the mall, the Medina (souk area) or even the airport .. Hotel and staff all great - they lived up to the 5 star standard !!
