Only a 10-15 minute walk to check in or from customs - all indoors and there are food places and phone/sim card places along the walk. Rooms are really nice and the pool area is very elegant. The staff were super accommodating to all of our requests. The pool is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of busy Bangkok. The buffet had so many options and multiple cuisines, but maybe the food could be kept a little warmer. All other top hotels around have a dedicated ferry service for their guests to cross the river, so Shangrila should possibly look in to doing the same; especially a direct ferry to IconSiam would be very convenient and useful to guests."
