We really loved our stay at Hotel Tandem. Everything was very clean and updated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Strasbourg.

The location is very convenient to the train station. There are plenty of food options in the nearby area. The bathroom was remodelled and nice. The downstairs area has a good coffee/tea machine for guests.

Excellent overnight stay!
We had a wonderful overnight stay at this hotel. Directly across from the main train station. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the hotel exceptionally clean and the front desk staff are all so friendly and welcoming! We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel felt cozy and luxurious at the same time! The staff was kind and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely deliciuos and I will be dreaming about it for years to come. The location was perfect just across from the train station yet easy to walk to the main area of the city. The only thing I wish they had in the room was a mini fridge. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Hotel is super fancy and comfy, but everything is so tiny … No free coffee and tea available in lobby (3.5€), no free breakfast even I had a Platinum VIP (management has an excuse). Too close too train station and all amenities.

Beautiful hotel with a few setbacks
First the pros: • Lovely hotel • Friendly and helpful staff • Amazing room and bathroom; spacious • Loved the room's vaulted ceilings • Fairly peaceful at night; didn't require use of my noise canceller • Convenient location to train station and centre ville Now the cons • My room was super dusty, every single surface was dusty; even the bed frame/head. I ended up taking a towel to dust all the surfaces down. Also around the door at the base of the shower, where the closure and the hinges meet, these areas weren't cleaned. • There was a fingernail on the floor of the room and it definitely wasn't mine! And I was a solo traveller • Had the buffet breakfast the first morning; lots of variety but could not eat most of it dietary wise and didn't enjoy what I could have. Had tea, detox water and regular water the next morning and got charged exactly the same price as if I'd had the buffet breakfast!

Great hotel, lovely cosy rooms and good on-site amenities (including a ‘library’ area with ice tea). A great stop for anyone taking the train to or from Strasbourg.

Convenient location, modern hotel
The staff is wonderful. The bed and bedding so comfortable. The rooms are quite dark however, black and navy walls. Bathrooms too tight to turn around. The location is convenient right across the park from the train station and an easy walk to Petite France and the historic center. The breakfast is not included in the room rate and is an additonal 20 Euros a night. Something to factor when comparing room rates. The breakfast buffet is a beautiful variety however. The aesthetic is very modern.

The hotel is across the street from the train station so very convenient. Christmas markets were within 15 minute walk. Several dining options near hotel. Staff were very friendly.

It was so welcoming. The bar area and library were a lovely place to sit after a day exploring. The rooms were spacious, clean and really well decorated. The whole hotel was beautiful and the staff were excellent. We had a truly wonderful stay!

Hotel is conveniently located near two metro stops. It is located on a deadend side street and therefore is very quiet. Staff are very friendly. Room was basic, but clean and up to date. We have stayed at this hotel twice now and will stay there again.

Centrally located in Strasbourg and next to the train station, this is an outstanding hotel with a very helpful and attentive staff. Plus the hotel served one of the best breakfasts I have had in my 47 years of traveling. Will certainly stay at Tandem again in the future.

We booked 2 rooms in this great property. We really loved the breakfast as everything was organic and locally sourced. The hotel is very well decorated and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitively recommend this hotel to my friends.

Like about: The property provide free water that you can fetch from the bar on ground level. Hotel is close to the station which is very convenience and have plenty of patisseries around to get breakfast. It's clean. Not enough space for 2 medium luggages. Don't like about: It says is a 4 stars hotel but provide no slippers & bathrobe at all. I don't think it is a 4 stars hotel.

Property seems newly rennovated, which is nice. Breakfast was the highlight and made by staff member Mariyam (sp?) who was a delight to speak to - and very helpful in explaining all the foods that have nuts for a nut allergy in our party. Rooms are fine, clean, but no robes, slippers and not enough towels. Also very noisy in morning beginning at 7am with outdoor construction. Staff also surprised us with not assisting with luggage - they just gave us a cart and told us to do it ourselves. If you have mobility issues and need assistance, this may not be the property for you.
