We absolutely loved our stay at Field Guide Lodge! The staff was so friendly and we ended up with an upgraded room for our or at family vacation! The breakfast every morning was fantastic, the decor was super fun, and the location couldn’t have been better. We got to take advantage of the hot tub as well. Communication was a breeze. We had a perfect time and can’t wait to visit again!

Great place. Very "funky" decor and maybe not our personal style, but our stay was great. The staff was super friendly. The room was above the bar, so was initially concerned about noise but bar closed early and place was very quiet. Location is outstanding. Would definitely stay again.

I loved how close we were to everything in Stowe. There never seemed to be anyone at the desk but the after hours check in and check out worked fine. Only thing I would change is the rug in my room 207 was not clean and should be replaced.

Things I enjoyed: It was easy to communicate with the staff without having to visit the front desk. All of the staff were very nice when I did have to interact. Appreciated the breakfast in the morning. It was delicious. Rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. The location was great, food was tasty and there was a lot of other choices within walking distance. I loved the hot cider in the caraffe after coffee time. A great treat to come back to after being outside all day and being cold. Loved the seating in the lobby. For the price of the surrounding hotels for the weekend, the field guide lodge was a great value. Other things: There wasn't much that I didn't enjoy. WIsh the bar area was open longer, but I get it if there isn't enough activity to support later hours...Wasn't clear on how to book the hot tub, so I missed out on that. We had a great stay. Thank you.

The sound proof is not great at the property. There are people hanging around in the lounge area at night and being super loud and we can hear everything, so loud. We have a hard time falling asleep.

The hotel esthetics are relaxing and fun and staff were accommodating, polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location was conveniently close to Stowe.

Madeline was a very accomodating host. Lodge was well kept and very clean. Great restaraunts within walking distance and easy drives to world class ski resorts.

This is a very nicely renovated old building. It was very clean and staff were great. It is just an old building so even with white noise on, I could hear every person walking down the hallway and every conversation outside the door. The bed would shake every time someone walked down the hall. That made sleeping very difficult. It is nicely set up, live music was great, and it was clean and comfortable. But without being able to sleep due to the old building, the other stuff didn’t matter as much.

Boutique hotel with great decor. Very shabby chic. Loved all the lounge areas to hang out after skiing with several fireplaces. Great bar. Rooms very nice decor. On small side but plenty of storage. Great breakfast included. Close to downtown. About 15 minute drive to ski mountain. Convenient to many restaurants.
