They charged me a fee of 16$ per night to park which was never mentioned online it’s absurd that they bill you everything upfront also. I’ve never had to park at a hotel before

Why the $16 parking fee when we self-parked in an open lot on the property? No parking attendant, no offer of help with luggage, no cart to help ourselves with luggage. The lot seemed big enough to hold enough cars for meetings, weddings, etc. so why this fee? Also, "designer toiletries" consisted of two small wrapped bars of soap, a shower cap and shoe shine cloth, and a wall-mounted shampoo/conditioner combo in the shower. Sort of minimalist. We wondered why management didn't notice a dodgy guy right outside the front door loudly ranting to himself in a pretty wild manner. Clearly not a guest. We steered clear when exiting. On the plus side, this hotel is located just off the freeway so easy on/off for travelers.
