"Gorgeous property on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We had a young family and found it perfect to relax after a day of travel around the city. Nice Scottish breakfast buffet as well but for us the beautiful landscape and building architecture were the highlight. We found the service to be decent with couple moments of great service. "

The royal mile with all the shops and restaurants was literally a 3 minute walk. Arthur’s Seat trail was only 15 minute walk. Shopping district a 10 minute walk. "Great choice for easy access to Edinburgh without having to negotiate the traffic. The local bus stops a short walk away and was £2 each way. The location was very pretty and quiet with great parking. The food was very good and all the staff were very helpful and attentive. What the Expedia listing does not say and their own website does is that there is live music every weekend, which can be loud enough even on the 2nd floor of rooms that sleeping might be difficult. Also, the parking area has only six spots for the 12 rooms at the hotel, so it’s not guaranteed that you would be able to park in their car park (5 pounds/day charge). "

"I came in here to ask for directions on my way to my originally planned stay. The staff were so nice to me that I ended up switching to this hotel. Everything was perfect. Staff was so kind (at the restaurant and the entrance folks). Room was cool, small but totally comfortable. Lots of cool tech - climate control, cool lights, blinds control. The TV said "hello ___" and my name, Great user experience."

"I booked this Hotel for easy access to Edinburgh for the Edinburgh marathon on Sunday 26th. The hotel was a good location, check in was easy and efficient, meal options are limited although I had a nice big Pizza the day before the race and there is a Morrisons which is a 10 minute walk and easy access to the Tram. The hotel staff were friendly and in particular a guy called Maris who offered me some complimentary snacks for the marathon which was a nice touch. He was also very friendly and efficient. "
