This place is perfect for my family. My husband and children (2 Y, 5 Y) really enjoyed staying here. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was perfect! There was something for everyone. This hotel is located across the street from a really nice mall which was very convenient and. close to dining options. This place is definitely for us when we travel this way again.

Staff was very accommodating. Complimentary breakfast was great with a variety of options to choose from. Hotel is right next to PF Chang's restaurant and across street from mall. Heated indoor pool, hot tub, and workout room. I purchased room through Expedia for a King and queen size bed. Since these rooms were unavailable when I checked in, they had upgrade my room to corner suite, and ended up getting a King bed and a pull out sofa queen bed (very uncomfortable).

I really like the reliability of Embassy Suites as a brand. The design is very similar in the different locations I've stayed at, the breakfast has a great assortment of foods, the staff has been consistently professional and the wait staff in the mornings are so friendly and accommodating.

Never had this issue with Hilton properties before. When we arrived, we were told that the room that we booked did not have a queen bed (aside from the king bed) so they said that housekeeping would come up with a bed for the room. When the person arrived, she came with a double bed and a poor, unprofessional attitude. She huffed and puffed when we asked where the bed should be set up and constantly sounded irritated whenever we asked a question. Finally when we told her "is there a problem, are we are inconveniencing you" did her attitude change slightly. She ended up removing the bed since we found a pull out bed inside one of the couches. Secondly, and clearly the worst of the issues was that the carpet floor was soaking wet and had a bad smell between the kitchenette area and the master bedroom. When my wife put a towel on the floor on top of the carpet, it absorbed a significant amount of a nasty brown substance and the smell. Understandably, we were all disgusted by this since we had been walking in socks over the floor and our feet were wet with this mixture of water and potential fungus. I took a number of photos of the towels with the stains from the floors and showed the person at the front desk to try to either get a new room or a different person than our original "cheerful" staff member to dry the floor but they handed us towels instead and offered us Hilton Honor points, a small concession. Have stayed here in the past with good experiences, things have slipped.

Staff are very courteous and helpful. Clean, convenient location near shopping mall and restaurants. Got complimentary drinks. Heated indoor pool good for family. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast buffet was good and convenient.

I had to straighten out the billing before I left. Great breakfast… Loved the omelette bar… but unfortunately, I had to deal with annoying people trying to sell timeshares while I’m trying to eat my breakfast. Nice spacious room with a decent bed. Hotel needs updating… The inner courtyard set up is strange being that your room has window facing a corridor.

Not crazy about the parking. First, it's $40 per day. Second, Very tight space to move around a truck. Third, many people did not understand how to use their room key to enter and exit the parking garage.

The property is conveniently located to the UCSD campus. Breakfast was very good with several warm options, including freshly made omelets. The atrium was beautiful with Koi fish in the stream. We enjoyed our 2 night stay.

The location convenient for shopping ( great mall nearby) but too distant from the village of La Jolla. Breakfast was great. The room - clean with a comfortable bed.

This hotel is good place to stay for short holiday. The car park’s gate is not easy to open( too far for the driver to reach with a hotel’s room card.). In short, it is a nice and a quiet place for a short stay.

This is our second time staying here when visiting the San Diego/La Jolla area - we love it here. Our dogs are comfortable in the rooms here & they have good food options as well. It's in a great area surrounded by a ton of restaurants & things to do. We will be staying here again!
