This is an odd little hotel, tucked away off a main road, about 10 minute drive from the Rome airport. The staff is very nice, very helpful; the best part of the experience. The hotel is clean and serviceable, but a bit tired, spare, sort of like what you would find at a state park in the US. Transportation back and forth to the airport is an issue; the regular cabs cost about 50 euros for a two mile trip; however, the hotel will help you get a cab or a shuttle for about 20 euros. Also, note that there is not anyplace on site to get anything to eat or drink for breakfast other than a vending machine. However, there is a wonderful cafe for breakfast about a 5 minute walk away; and an astonishingly great restaurant for dinner just down the street. Overall, considering that the other options for staying near the airport cost at least twice as much, this is a perfectly good option.
