"Staff on arrival fab, very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we’re informed that the restaurant was closed that evening which we would have preferred to know beforehand so we could have arranged something else. Room clean but a little on the small side. Hotel could do with a little updating but ..."

5 Sep 2019I love this little town. Handily-located just off the motorway (A74(M)) with free parking and a nice range of shops. Just out of town there's a car park where you can stargaze on a clear night. Moffat was Europe's first Dark Sky Town.
