Very good hotel. Staff are excellent and friendly. Excellent breakfast and great variety…only thing was if could change a few dishes from day to day. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I spent 3 nights in the Grand Mercure, before and after my jungle trek and Toba tours and each night was a great, different room. Herbert handled my check in with professional and kind greetings Abd Eggi showed me to features of the room and promptly brought my bag up.
I loved the lounge and coffee shop in the ground floor with live piano music.

The deluxe room was wonderful. It was large and had a very comfortable king bed.
Breakfast at 8:30 on Sunday morning was very crowded and the wonderful staff kept up with replenishing the buffet.
Check in and out were very smooth.

Lovely hotel in centre of Medan. Spacious and clean room with good air con. Breakfast was very good.

The staff was super friendly, polite and helpful. The Breakfast Buffet was the best that I have seen in all the hotels that I have gone in my life. It is as good as a lunch buffet

Sheets dirty (had stains all over).
Mini bar empty.
Could not order room service.
Slow response from staff.
Deposit paid in cash but recieved a call from the front desk at 11pm demanding payment.
Breakfast was good.
This is the second and last time we wil stay at this hotel as the first time we had a simmiler experance and were asked to give them another chance so we did but they could not deliver.

We arrived at the front desk before 10am and we were offered an early checkin to our room against the official 2pm checkin time. Staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had an enormous choice of food; but the hot dishes were served at various temperature. Some were at [air-conditioned] room temperature, but some were served piping hot that I needed to bring along some tissue paper to open the lid to avoid burning my fingers.
