I paid for a "luxury" room. The room was dirty. Hair all over the bathroom floor and shower. Crunchy something on the floor. The headboard and entertainment center thing looked liked it had dried splatter of something on it. No fridge, microwave or hairdryer. Also there was trash inside of the drawers. I complained and got a room that was in the same condition but at least had a fridge and hairdryer. Neither of the hot tubs worked. But the music they play at the pool was great.

Had a wonderful time staying here! Room was quiet and comfortable. Helpful that they had a store and places to eat in the hotel for convenience. Enjoyed playing the slot machines and tables. Also was able to access Harrah’s beach resort on the river which was very relaxing and enjoyable. Would highly recommend staying here.

First and last time I stay here. I kept getting charges and could not be told why. They said it wasn’t them charging when it says Tropicana on my card. A 630 dollar hold on my card for a two night stay when I was only left owing 200. They charged me deposits THREE different times. The staff and manager were especially rude. So much to say but the experience was draining. I’ll have to wait for charges to complete and dispute with my bank. They are chathimb me double of what was owed.

It served the purpose but keep your expectations low. The shower looked dingy. No hand soap provided in the bathroom so had to use the shower gel mounted to the shower. Found a beer cap under the ottoman. Everything closed at 9pm and all tables closed at 1130pm. Luckily, we just needed a place to sleep over night to break up the road trip.

Hot tub broken. Lady behind wall at check in counter lectures me how a broken spa is not in my resort fee. Very proud of not giving refund. Will skip Tropicana from now on.

We chose this property over the Nugget for the jacuzzi at Tropicana. We check in after a 300 mile drive. The hot tub is broken. I ask the guy standing around the pool room. He says it's broken and part on order. We check out and I bring up the problem and the lady behind the wall lectures me how the resort fee does not cover the pool or hot tub and no refund? Not a nice customer service person. Needless to say we're done with your hotel. Never again.

Did not like my check-in experience at all. Huge line..not enough hotel staff to make the checkin wcperience more efficient ..the check in kiosks they have do not even work...I tried to check in with one and after doing the whole process, the kiosk had displayed a message for me to finish my checkin in the lobby, which meant I had to line up anyway in the huge line i was trying to avoid by using the kiosk.

Our room was amazing, love the size of the room and the spa tub was great. Room 569 was awesome. Hopefully next year were able to book that room again. What I didnt like was that when I drained the tub the water drained into one of the sinks and left a black residue in the sink which was gross.

The Tropicana is a decent hotel for the price, but the conditions of the property are out dated and need some repairs. As much as we had to pay for food and beverage they sure can use some upgrades in the rooms.

I like the Tropicana for its cleanliness. It's also safe and convenient. I did not like the check in process this time. There were only 3 Tropicana staff members checking in guests and the line was so long.

I think the experience was typical but in traveling for work, the rooms have more amenities; small refrigerators, microwaves… the fridge would have been helpful to keep things cold. Also thought they had room service which they did not.
