My wife and i checked in late on May 2024, they put us on a "NON SMOKING" room on the 8F. The minute you open the door, the strong smell of cigarrete will greet you (the smell sticks to the curtain and bedding as well). We can hardly breathe since the AC just circulates the air. We've requested to be transferred to another room ASAP for the reason and the staff named Matthew went up to check and he said the room was fine and doesn't smell (probably smoker, too) He is RUDE and COLD!!!! He should be fired! We insist to move and gave us a room on the 3/F, WHICH IS WAY WORST THAN THE FIRST ONE FOR THE SAME REASON!!!!! Since its 2am, i just ask ask my wife to wear mask and we'll leave earlier. Our clothes smells like tobacco as expected. IF I CAN GIVE A ZERO STAR, I WOULD! We travel a lot and this is the worst experience we had in terms of accomodation and staff. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

Room is clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful. Though the transportation is not ideal, hotel shuttle bus can bring you to the city center is a great compensation.

Forget to mention, it's WIFI is better than Ease Access. It does not keep buffering when I watch youtube video. Staff is nice and accomodating. Staffs on the parking level are also friendly and eager to provide direction when guests asked how to get to a destination / where is the bus stop to certain location. Did not use gym or garden, did had breakfast in the hotels for couple days. I would say if it is included fine, if not, I would eat breakfast outside as they serve the same menu all the times (ham, hot dogs, sausage, corn, fish dumling, beef dumling), congree, veggie noodles, egg to ordered, cereals, fruits, bread/toasts, and drinks. Need chili oils... and if they can add hash brown and turkey bacon for those don't eat pork w-ould be even better. Overall staffs are nice. Breakfast is 8-11 if I remembered correctly

Compare to Ease Access Tusen Wan that my husband loved back in 2018, this is a new winner. The standard unit has a fridge and has its own air purifier in each room. We were given 2 tall water bottles everyday, Ease Access's water bottles are half of the size. Staff does not have issue to provide extra sugar, creamer and coffee package when we requested it. Ease Access housekeeping staff gave us attitude till we complained to the front desk. I like Silka more as the room is slightly bigger, it has a desk and chair so I don't have to sit on the bed all the times. It is quiet, I don't hear guest from next door talking / walking or TV. I know next door is occupied as even the door is closed but the door keeps it unlocked. For sure, you will hear your next door guests at Ease Access. Room for improvement: I have a hard time to adjust to their beds, it is not super firm nor soft, I just have back and shoulder pain when I wake up everyday. I have less pain with Ease Access's bed even I think it is about the same softness. Like the fact that they offer shuttle, wish they have it every 30 mins instead and if they offer stops that I can catch airport express buses. I don't like to drag suitcases in MTR station. I can walk to self lanudry store in 3 mins and it opens 24 hours ($15 washing include detergents already and $25 for drying) and it texts you 5 mins before it finishes. The hotel is also closed to different restaurants bakeries & bus stops.

This hotel is a very nice hotel with good service. They have a free shuttle to mtr station also. I need to mention that I really respect this hotel, as during the covid-19 pandemic, all the hotels refused to accept any visitors who had been overseas. All the hotels gave up on helping people during the crisis and only focused on their reputations rather than helping the community. This hotel was one of the few that accepted people from overseas (whether with compulsory or not self quarantine) with a very reasonable and affordable price. They offered special packages for 14 days for such purpose. They stood with HK people during their hard time, which is something I highly respect. Therefore, I highly recommend this hotel.

When we were checking in, the receptionist was chatting with her friend with the office phone, and I feel it very disrespectful and she did not go through a lot of the hotel policy, and should give more directions to how to get there.

I liked the location and the shuttle services this hôtel provides. The AC in the room is really damp... I bought new books and the pages crumpled after a day. I hadn't even read them yet! My clothes are always cold and damp in the morning too... No matter how long I put them out for, they'd still be damp. The staff were super friendly and accommodating!

Modern looking hotel on the inside. Daily cleaner to make the bed and top up refreshments as well as do a decent clean on bathroom and room areas. These really do a good job! Free shuttle bus service to Kwai that runs every 30mins but last shuttle bus is 10:15 from Kwai fong back to hotel

Dirty walls and dirty carpet. The room was moldy and made our stay extremely uncomfortable and be ware that the hotel service is very informal. They don’t give you even the basic supplies like shampoo, conditioner and lotion sort of stuff unless you ask them and some rooms don’t have hot water at the basin depending on what type of tap you get. They promise on their website they provide free dunking water and smart phone, but we didn’t see a thing of them. Very very bad experience and we will never ever come back again.

Difficulties communicating what you need due to language barrier. Food served during breakfast reminds me of school cafe lunch (canned sausages, ham soaked in water, corn, steamed cabbage, red beans, etc. The hotel will benefit from hiring new chef.

Very good hotel
Very good hotel with polite staff members. Location is good with many stores and restaurants around the hotel. Shuttle bus to train station is good. Breakfast is also good with very nice people servicing there. The only issue may be the room is pretty small with little open spaces. This may be the case for many hotels in Hong Kong and Japan.
