"Had a great time at Blanco as a solo traveller and met great people, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The staff where nice constantly asking if we all where okay. The hostel was extremely clean."

"I knocked down the number of stars because of two things. The AC was absolutely freezing in the dorms. I could barely sleep I was so cold, even with sweat pants and hoodie. Also only a couple of the bathrooms worked and they did not have sink for brushing teeth. You could see where sink had been. In general bathroom not too great. "

"We had a good stay at this property we stayed for a week but it's good to keep in mind that this property is in the heart of phi phi so you won't be able to sleep till 2am due to live music. The staff are nice however and is a nice hotel if you don't need to sleep early. "

"Nice hostel. Clean beds, showers and toilets. Staff is really nice and helpful. Good AC. Small communal area. Negatives are low water pressure and it's on the main Street and not the beach."

"This hostel is amazing from the staff to the location everything is right. It's based in a bungalow resort so you get to use all the resort facilities. Decent swimming pool and the beach is a few mins walk. The staff done everything for us without effort, I only booked 2 nights here and ended up staying 9 nights. Defo recommended from me"

"It was okay hostel, not too clean and not too comfort to be honest. There was no privacy, and it was quite noisy at nights because there’s a bar right front of the hostel. The beds were okay, toilets wasn’t so clean. It was okay, but would have expected more."

"Don’t expect luxury, this is budget accommodation and if you want AC you won’t find private rooms at this price elsewhere. The AC was good and the refrigerator was nice to have being on a budget and buying water and snacks for my stay. The only complaint I have is cleanliness. The first room I was put in had an excessive amount of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. I asked to be moved and once I showed her she immediately moved me. "We had 5 nights at Alanta Villa, and by day two we knew we hadn’t booked long enough. The villas are peaceful, well appointed, comfortable, and very private. We found the staff are incredibly helpful and very friendly… genuinely lovely people There’s a lot of wildlife knocking about in the gardens, so if you don’t want to share the place with frogs, lizards, preying mantis and monkeys, then it might not be for you, but I love all that and it really made my stay much better. "This hotel had bedbugs. We had a reservation in the 3br suite and around 11pm discovered there were bedbugs infested in all 3 rooms. I struggled with posting this review because all of the the staff are so nice but I see the room is available for reservation again and it was a total nightmare to discover this and deal with sanitizing our things and finding a new place to stay in the middle of the night. "
