Room and facilities were clean and bed was adequate. Toiletries were minimal and towels were functional. Customer service was nonexistent. My toilet was flushing slowly and I advised the front desk and was assured the toilet would be fixed. I returned after a long day to find the room wasn’t cleaned and the toilet was not fixed. I called the front desk and was told since it was after 6pm the night manager couldn’t help because he couldn’t leave the desk. He offered me a plunger so I could address the issue myself. Needless to say I was unhappy about the situation, but given the alternative I got the plunger and proceeded to try and fix the issue. The plunger didn’t work, so in the morning I had to use the public facilities in the lobby. I spoke with the front desk and he didn’t even offer an apology. When the manager showed up I told him of my issue and he was indifferent. I’ll never stay at a Quality Inn again.
On another note the breakfast was the standard fair of grocery store bread, bagels and English muffins, terrible coffee, cereal, watered down juices, fruit, one flavor of yogurt and make your own waffle.
