"This is our go-to hotel when want a few days away. It’s location is perfect for visits to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath and many of the other beautiful area’s around this hotel. The staff are really lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The food was really good and has a varied menu to suit all tastes. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. "Rooms were not cleaned to a very good standard, lots of bits on the floors, behind sofa and beds. Very dusy in bathroom on window cill. Mirrors were very streaky. Room smelt very musty on arrival even though the windows were left open before we arrived."

"Our room was lovely, very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. It was very quiet at night too, no banging doors, although not sure if it was because the hotel itself was quiet. The only negative was that the room was incredibly hot at night. We had to have the windows open quite wide overnight. "
