We only had one night here but we were able to get a late check out for a reasonable price. Definitely a great location for day shopping and night life. Lots of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This hotel is huge and also has a pool. Definitely going to add this location to my next stay. Thanks

The place is a little bit run down. But the staff are very friendly. And they always have something open. If you are looking for luxury. This place isn't for you. But if you were looking for somewhere just to lay your head every night. This may be your spot.

Great location
The hotel is very close to Khaosan Rd. It doesn’t matter what time of day or night, you can walk right out of the hotel and find something to do or eat. Despite music being played all night, I was able to sleep peacefully through it. I was there for 5 days, and never received service to room even though signage was placed appropriately. Also bring your own towels including face towels. They were clean however for 2 guest 1 set of towels was provided for my entire stay. The restaurant below service was very slow. For breakfast, staff didn’t seem motivated to take orders timely. On one occasion I sat 30 minutes before my order was taken. The second time, I was the first to order and I only ordered eggs and toast. It took 45 minutes for me to get my order.

When we arrived we were in the heart of excitement. When we opened the door we were slightly disappointed at the room. I was greeted by one roach which escape death…I am sure not for the first time in its life…but I got a little weary. The curtains were a bit broken but the pool view was nice. The water pressure in the room was quite slow….did not wash hair because it would just be too long and maybe not all soap would rinse. The restaurant food was lovely the Staff were amazing!!!! As our stay continued, all of these small challenges became null and our stay as a family was splendid! Definitely will refer people to this quaint, enjoyable and lovely location.

The steps to the check-in desk is like terrible. The noise at night is terrible and they should have had double windows that lock securly to reduce sound of the horrible music everyday.

A fire trap
The hotel did not seem to have smoke detectors, it's got an open stairwell and no way to escape out the window. Outside my window was a small ledge facing a wall a foot or two away. Both sides were fenced in. So in the event of a fire you're toast.

Great for backpackers
The room was very clean and, although it was on the very busy Soi Rambuttri, it wasn't noisy at night. TV channels were few, but hey you didn't come to Bangkok to watch cable tv. The water pressure was weak, but it's hot so it does the job. The bed and comforters were so comfortable, too.

Didn’t like that the beds were changed every 3 days as there was toe nails in mine. They say it is to help the environment but just seems like the trying to save money. Other than that was lovely.

Location is great and hotel is clean, staff is friendly. However old bed matress hurt my back, ac is old and takes time to cool, shower head sprays strong small jets of water and hurts, feels like needles.

You get what you pay for. Not bad at n a pretty good location. They refuse to give you more than one key, even if you have 2 guests staying there. And if you take the one key with you, the air on is off until you return. And forget about the restaurant. It was over priced and the advertised “best Phad Thai in Bangkok” was awful... the worst I have had anywhere.

While the location is convenient, the noise until 3am every night was so bad we had to move hotels for the last night of our stay to get at least one nights sleep. Unless you can sleep through anything pick somewhere else. Really.

Noisy but expected.
If you want to enjoy the party scene without walking this is your hotel. What I liked best about the hotel was that it had a fully enclosed shower, which is rare in Thailand. Super easy check in and fast checkout even though we had to check out at 5:00 a.m. in order to catch our flight. It is in the heart of the party scene so expect noise until 2:00 to 3:00 a.m. but great location. Wifi was a little frustrating because you had to log in each time but worked well otherwise.

I loved the location on a busy street with lots of vendors. I didn’t like the dim lighting and weak a/c. But it’s quaint and unique. I would stay there again

Stay here instead of Khoa San Rd!
This was a great hotel just one street back from Khoa San Road. It was also recommended by Lonely Planet. The street is aesthetically tree lined and has many restaurants and shops. The room was clean and included a safe and refrigerator. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and tidy. The place is on a night market street. totally loved the ambience. They require 1500 baht key deposit. If you want a quiet place I would suggest you not to book here. The wifi was not working during our entire stay. The AC is not in good condition.

It was so easy to find and very accessible, convenient for everything, has an elevator very friendly and helpful staff, rooms spacious and clean, bath so big, not noisy on 5th floor, very relaxing and comfortable, had a safe, dryer, kettle, free drinks and snacks!, great luggage storage room, awesome food, has cool pool access, everything was awesom, nice window soze for sunlight, great interiors and furnitures. Super value for money exceeded all my expectations for an affordable room.

Solid spot
Great location. It’s in a bit of a noisy area but we were fortunate to be high up and not too close to the noise. Restaurants galore nearby. The room was tidy, staff was good, they just required a bit more of a deposit for the key than most places.

The pillows and bed were soft. There were free drinks and snacks. Excellent service. The best hotel I stayed at in Thailand.

Whilst the room was adequate the NOISE from the downstairs bars playing music made getting sleep IMPOSSIBLE!!!’ I stayed at this location because I had an early bus to catch but got next to no sleep. Stay somewhere away from this Soi. ALSO Villa Cha Cha 2 is not the same as th Hostel. It is further down the street - nowhere on the Expedia ad or details sent to me was this made clear. Frustrating when you’re tired and just want to find your location and check in. Next time will stay away from this Soi if you want a decent nights sleep.

Great place to stay in this area.
Great location. Then, I made a mistake in my booking for a future date, but they took care of the problem with minimum hassle. It was a noisy Friday night, but I requested a quiet room and got one. I was very comfortable and would stay there again.

Stayed with family members visiting from abroad. Wanted them to experience Khao San Road. The hotel was clean a comfortable if slightly worn. Only downside was that it was very noisy, but that’s to be expected given the location.
