"The staff were very helpful and responsive. We stayed in a maisonnette and like some of the others have said the sea view is blocked partially by the buildings in front. The road that runs in front has parking but it's also noisy, and the balcony had no shade. The apartment was lovely but needed some maintenance - kitchen needed a bit of tidying and the shower head was hanging off. "This was our first trip anywhere in Greece. We chose Plakias on the south west cost of Crete, and I'm so glad we did as the weather was stunning, for October, as was Crete itself. The Sea View apartments were a lucky find, too. They are clean, modern, light, good value and have a view of the sea, as the name suggests, which is about a three minute walk away. "The pools and outside space are lovely at its very picturesque but the room was very dated and the bathroom was in poor condition with glass slats missing. The air-conditioning is old and struggled to cool the size of room. The shampoo and shower gel dispenser was broken when i contacted reception the receptionist was unhelpful. People smoke everywhere and even an employee who has a room in a no smoking area thinks it ok with children around. "

"Palazzo Greco is a set of modern villas with a stunning view and nice location close to several beaches. The units are clean, comfortable, and we were nicely set up with a single villa using the lower level for our two kids. Do sign up for the breakfast---it was delicious, the best we had in Greece. The staff is welcoming and even shows up with tasty treats."
