"The owner greeted us upon entering and made us quite comfortable. Loved that the dinner menu changed daily. The staff was very accommodating. The owner gave us a private tour of the new extension of the hotel. Definitely will be back after the new wing is completed. "

"We only stayed here 3 nights. Absolutely amazing location and the rooftop is what its all about. The staff must see thousands of tourists come and go and it shows unfortunately. The room was tiny and a tiny wet room to shower. But for a few nights was fine and doable We went to the hotel next doors rooftop for alcoholic beverages. Was always empty so was good to escape the crowds of Nefertitis rooftop. Nefertitis was a fantastic slice of Egypt. We highly recommend Al Hajeej tours "

"I wish my stay here was longer. The service and hospitality were fantastic. And the attached restaurant had delicious local foods…I’m still thinking about the lentil soup! The hotel also arranged airport transfers so that I didn’t have to worry about getting to the hotel or airport. Saves bargaining with people outside the Luxor airport. The only downside was that the shower was very small and not the easiest to enter/exit due to the placement of the sink. "

"The drive to the hotel took us down a side street as opposed to a main road giving a very bad first impression but on arriving at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. The reception was airy and authentically Egyptian. Nasser welcomed us and arranged for us to get together on the terrace the next morning so we could go to our room as it was quite late. "It's tired, and I'm not sure you would really want to use the pool! The room was essentially windowless, as you just looked at a brick wall. The breakfast room was in the basement, and was not great. But it was great value, in an amazing location, walk to Luxor temple and museum etc. And it looks like a lot of work is being done on the promenade right near the hotel with shops/restaurants etc. This is great if you just want somewhere to sleep and spend the rest of your time out and about, spot...

"I paid in full to Expedia when I booked. However, when I checked in at the hotel. The hotel manage told me there was no reversation for me and if I wanted to stay, I had to pay them. They told me to call Expedia and get a refund from Expedia. I paid again to stay there. I chatted with Expedia about this and they informed that I should get a reponse in 72 hours. I did not get any responses or refund after days. Expedia scammed me my money"

"If I am Hotels.com I will not include them on my list because you will make a lot of consumers like me mad and angry. All the perks shown on their ad was all BOGUS like the free airport transfers and KFC and Pizza Hut is 4000 feet away from the property, etc. This location is in the boonies and the caretaker is always asking for money every time I need something."

Mohamed was able to save us significantly on our tours compared to the online tour company prices. The entire staff goes above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your time in Luxor.
