Two days before my stay, the hotel sent me an email threatening to treat me as a no-show and charge me if I did not reply with my check-in time. I responded to the email, but did not receive a confirmation email. I tried calling the accommodation several times to confirm this, but the call was not connected. One day later, without my consent, the hotel used my card information to charge me for the stay. Upon checking in, the hotel again asked me to pay, but I refused. Only then did the hotel cancel the card authorization and ask me to pay again. I've traveled a lot, but I've never seen a hotel like this where you pay before your stay. The hotel explained that these were standard procedures. Generally, if I no-show at a hotel, the hotel usually charges me after the stay date. I don't understand this behavior of the hotel.
I also made a reservation for 2 adults and 1 child, and made the reservation as the hotel advertised that we could stay in a standard double room. However, the room was too small for two adults, and on the morning of check-in, I requested a side bed and was told that it was possible, but at check-in, they said that such a service was not available. I was displeased with this entire experience at the hotel and would never want to use it again. Also, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else at all. I paid for 3 people, but I think the service is not even good for 2 people. This place is just an inn.
